Welcome to the official site of the Comenius project "Learning form the past, living today, creating our future". Comenius is the name given to the School Education Section of the European Community action program in the field of education "Socrates". Comenius Action 1 aims to promote cooperation between schools in the participating countries. Schools may receive a grant from the European Community to help them set up partnerships working jointly on European education projects.

 The coordinating school of this project is Saint - Jan Berchmanscollege (Brussels, Belgium). The partner schools are from Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, England.

     The project started in September 2003 and will run for three years. The common language is English.
